McDonald extends Iron loan stay

urnley midfielder Kevin McDonald has extended his loan spell at Scunthorpe to a second month at the wishes of Iron manager Ian Baraclough.[LNB] McDonald's month-long stay with the Iron has been wrecked by a back injury, but he underlined his quality with a fine display in Saturday's 4-2 home defeat to Cardiff.[LNB]It was his first start for the Iron and now, following talks with Burnley boss Brian Laws, the 22-year-old agreed to a further month at Glanford Park.[LNB]
