McDonald back at Glanford Park
Scunthorpe have been boosted after on-loan Burnley midfielder Kevin McDonald returned to the club following treatment on a back injury.[LNB] McDonald joined the Iron last month but sustained the injury on his first training session with Ian Baraclough's men and went back to his parent club for treatment.[LNB]However, he has now returned to Glanford Park and could come into contention to make his debut in Saturday's trip to local rivals Hull.[LNB]David Mirfin (foot), Martyn Woolford (groin) and Sam Togwell (leg) all sat out training on Monday, so McDonald's return would serve as a major boost to Baraclough's men.
