McCann out for two weeks
Burnley midfielder Chris McCann will be sidelined for a fortnight after undergoing minor head surgery.
The 23-year-old Dubliner, who had been complaining of repeated migraines, has been released from hospital following the procedure.
A club statement read: "The minor operation, involving one overnight stay in hospital, was successful and Chris is now back to full health and expected to return to full training within two weeks.
"Burnley Football Club will not comment further on this matter."
Clarets manager Eddie Howe added: "I wish Chris a very speedy recovery and I'm pleased he is not far away now from returning to full training."
