urnley's Chris McCann is hoping to get the green light to resume training next month after returning to light training following knee surgery.[LNB] The Clarets midfielder has not featured this term after breaking down in Singapore in pre-season.[LNB]Surgery followed on the knee he first injured against Sunderland at Turf Moor in September 2009 - a setback that ruled him out of much of the club's Premier League campaign.[LNB]However, he told Clarets Player: "I've been slowly getting the leg moving again in the gym, and doing a lot of work with Ally (Beattie) and Luke (Bussey) in the physio room, squatting and lunging and just trying to get the knee moving again.[LNB]"Things are coming on quite well and the rehab is well underway.[LNB]"It's just great to get back in among the lads and to see them, getting the atmosphere and getting the leg going again makes me more eager to get back."
