May Adamson passes away
We've just learned of the sad news of the passing of May Adamson, wife of former captain and manager Jimmy, at the age of 78. May has suffered from ill health for some time and died in Royal Blackburn Hospital yesterday.Her and Jimmy had two daughters, Julie and Jane, both of whom have died in recent years, but Jimmy does have grandchildren.Our thoughts are very much with Jimmy, his grandchildren and friends at this very sad time for them.
