Burnley continue to be linked with a move for Norwich City striker Chris Martin, a player who is also attracting both Crystal Palace and Millwall. Sam Vokes, one of the strikers linked with Turf Moor move

The 23-year-old, who has come through the youth system at Norwich, spent most of last season with Crystal Palace on loan, scoring seven times in 28 appearances for the Eagles, this after he'd made his Premier League bow with four appearances for Norwich at the start of the season.

The 2009/10 season helped him make a name for himself at Carrow Road. He scored a total of 23 goals (17 in the league) as Norwich won League One. He found goals more difficult to come by in the Championship and scored just four league goals as they won a second promotion.

He appeared in both games against Burnley as a substitute and scored Norwich's first goal against us at Carrow Road as they came from 2-0 down to win a point against us.

Prior to their promotion seasons, he spent a full season on loan at Luton Town where he netted 13 times.

Burnley boss Eddie Howe has made no secret of the fact that he wants to bring in another striker to help fill the gap created by Jay Rodriguez' departure to Southampton.

We've also been linked with two former Bournemouth strikers, Bristol City's Brett Pitman and Sam Vokes, the Wolves striker who spent three months on loan with us last season.
