Marney wants home form

Dean Marney is under no illusions about the importance of Burnley`s forthcoming run of fixtures as they face four matches in 10 days. The Clarets have really picked up the pace since the appointment of Eddie Howe, especially away from home where they have claimed an impressive points return since the turn of the year, culminating in Saturday`s 2-1 derby success at Preston. Promotion-chasing Burnley now face three of their next four games at Turf Moor - all of which come in quick succession - and Marney knows the timing of their change in fortunes away from home has been crucial as they look to have a say in the play-off picture. "That was key because we played some tough teams. Winning those games and drawing against Cardiff brings people a bit closer," the midfielder told the club`s official website. "And now we`ve got ourselves into a really good position it`s massively important, the next run of games. "We let ourselves down in certain games (earlier in the season) but we have managed to get ourselves back on track and it`s now the final push, hopefully that will take us where we want to be." Meanwhile, trialist Louis-Rae Beadle, who has been training with Burnley`s first-team squad of late, will get the chance to impress for the reserves at Bury on Wednesday night.
