Marney takes first goal award of 2011

Dean Marney scored Burnley's winning goal at Portsmouth last month with an overhead kick and it came out on top in the January Goal of the Month vote. There were thirteen goals to choose from but it didn't just come first, Marney's goal polled not far short of half of the vote, 48.1% to be exact.It was ahead of two Chris Eagles goals.
