Marney predicts instant Clarets return
Dean Marney has tipped Burnley for an immediate return to the Premier League after becoming their first summer signing.[LNB] The 26-year-old left Hull, who were also relegated this season, for Turf Moor for an undisclosed fee, penning a three-year contract.[LNB]He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "Everybody wants to play in the Premier League, it's regarded as the best league in the world. I definitely want to get back and definitely feel I can do it with Burnley.[LNB]"It (the Championship) is a really tough league, everyone knows that. But with the quality of the squad I'm sure if we all play to the best of our ability we are as good as anyone and I'm sure we will do really well.[LNB]"It's a strong squad. I'm looking forward to pre-season and getting to know the lads, and I'm really looking forward to the challenge. I just can't wait to get going now."[LNB]
