Marney preaches the value of consistency

Burnley midfielder Dean Marney has urged his side to find greater consistency as they bid to re-establish themselves among the promotion pack. The Clarets lie five points adrift of the play-off places ahead of Saturday's trip to Watford and Marney says it is vital they keep on picking maximum points. The former Tottenham man, who scored the opening goal in last weekend's victory over Norwich, said: "It's important we try to put a little run together and put ourselves where we should be. "At the minute, we just can't seem to put a run together, which is costing us really. "If we can get two or three wins back-to-back, it looks completely different to where we are at the minute."
