Make or break weekend - Howe

Burnley boss Eddie Howe is urging his side resurgent to maintain their play-off bid by beating Derby and Portsmouth over the Easter weekend. The Clarets are in buoyant mood after winning successive home matches against Swansea and Middlesbrough and moving to within two points of sixth-placed Leeds. Victory over Derby at Pride Park on Saturday and Pompey at Turf Moor on Monday could lift Howe`s men into the top six and the former Bournemouth boss has stressed the importance of both fixtures. He said: "I think these two games will make or break our season. "We've got two difficult games but we need to pick up points and results in both of them. "We're going into the Derby game on the back of two great wins for us; difficult games but we played really well in both."
