Lynch is at Stalybridge

Whilst trying to keep up with all the transfers of former Burnley players during the summer we missed Chris Lynch joining Blue Square Bet North club Stalybridge Celtic. Lynch was one of the young professionals released by the Clarets at the end of last season and he spent most of pre-season training with Accrington Stanley. He played in most of their friendlies ahead of the new season but wasn't offered a deal by John Coleman leaving him to look for a new club on the eve of the season. He did just that by signing for Stalybridge, joining former youth team mate Adam Kay, and made his debut for them on 13th August in a 2-1 win at Nuneaton Town and then making his home debut last Saturday as they beat Gainsborough Trinity 4-0.
