Central defender Kevin Long, who recently returned from three months loan at Accrington Stanley with an injury, is on his way back to the Crown Ground. Long signed for Burnley in the January transfer window a year ago and is now set to spend the rest of this season with the League Two club after completing the half season loan.Assistant manager at Accrington, Jimmy Bell, said: "Kevin's about a week away from fitness. He cracked a bone in his toe but should be fine. He's improved no end since he came and we're hoping he can slot straight back in."He made twelve appearances during his earlier loan and is now looking forward to playing for them again. "I've really enjoyed my time here so far," he said. "Coming and playing competitive games has been good for me."I am delighted to be back and getting more games and hopefully I can do really well."When I got injured I was still in touch with Jimmy and the gaffer and they were telling me that they'd try and sort it so I never had any doubts that it was going to go through again."
