Kevin Long's loan at Accrington Stanley has come to an end after he cracked a bone in his foot in their win against Cheltenham Town at Whaddon Road last Saturday. Long has impressed at Stanley since joining on loan last October. He's played in twelve games and manager John Coleman was looking to extend the loan through to the end of this season. However, the central defender, who joined Burnley in January last year from Cork, has returned to Turf Moor and Accrington will now look elsewhere to bring a defender in on loan.Assistant manager Jimmy Bell said: "Kevin has cracked a bone in his foot so he has gone back to Burnley. He will be out for three to four weeks."
