Laws welcomes striker headache

Burnley manager Brian Laws is already facing a major selection headache in attack ahead of the new season. Chris Iwelumo's double in Thursday's 5-0 win over Home United in Singapore made it three goals in two games for the summer signing. Burnley's second consecutive 5-0 pre-season victory saw them score three times in the last eight minutes through Iwelumo, twice, and Chris Eagles. A penalty from Jay Rodriguez and Wade Elliott's thunderbolt had earlier established a 2-0 half-time lead as all the squad again got a run-out, with the exception of the injured Martin Paterson and Chris McCann. "I think everyone will say it's more important we get the fitness levels right and keep everyone fit but it's also important to see the strikers scoring," said the Clarets boss. "They are all scoring, which is very pleasing for me and I am sure come the first day of the season it is going to be a headache for me who I pick. But that's a great headache to have."
