Laws wants Rodriguez to keep improving
Burnley boss Brian Laws is confident homegrown striker Jay Rodriguez will continue to flourish at Turf Moor.
The 21-year-old has scored three goals this season and has been tipped to earn inclusion in the England Under-21 squad for the friendly in Germany on November 16.
He has been keeping Martin Paterson out of the side and Laws said: "To perform as well as he is doing and keeping out the likes of Martin Paterson speaks volumes.
"That's a difficult task in itself and it's great that people are looking at him.
"What he has to do now is continue his progress so that they [England Under-21s] don't just look at him, they pick him."
