Laws unhappy at impatient Burnley

Frustrated Brian Laws called for his Burnley side to show more patience in possession as their away problems continued with a 1-0 defeat at Coventry. The Clarets remain the only team in the npower Championship yet to taste victory on their travels this season thanks to Michael Doyle's 57th-minute strike. "I think frustration got the better of us," said Laws. "I thought we were in complete control for large periods of the game right up until they scored, it looked as though there was only going to be one team who were going to win the game. "We were patient with the ball, we passed it really well and created a fair few chances and that disappoints me because we're not clinical enough. "Particularly away from home it just seems to disappear, and our calmness in front of goal is costing us dearly. Of course that adds pressure when you concede because you want to go and get back in the game as quickly as you can, but in the last 20 minutes we stopped being patient with the ball."
