Laws pleased with Clarets
Brian Laws is confident Burnley are heading in the right direction after they recorded a thumping 5-0 win to kick off their Singapore tour on Tuesday night.
Goals from Ross Wallace, Chris Eagles, Chris Iwelumo, Steven Thompson and Jay Rodriguez earned a thumping victory over Gombak United and left Laws in buoyant mood.
The Clarets boss told the club's official website: "It has been a very good workout.
"The players put a great shift in and at the end of the day it doesn't matter who you play against, to put the ball in the back of the net is a very tough task.
"We passed the ball, moved it well and scored some great goals and hopefully the games will get progressively harder and give us sterner tests."
