Laws: Long will come back brighter

rian Laws is hoping Kevin Long comes back a better player after the promising 20-year-old completed a loan move to Accrington on Friday.[LNB] The defender has made the short trip to Burnley's League Two neighbours for an initial month-long stay to gain experience of regular first team football.[LNB]Long, a Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, arrived at Turf Moor from Cork City back in January and has been a constant performer at reserve-team level but is yet to feature for the senior side.[LNB]Burnley boss Laws said: "John Coleman (Stanley manager) has built that club from the bottom and he knows players. Hopefully he will bring the best out of Kevin in what is a physical division.[LNB]"Accrington look to play football and we are delighted he is going there, which also allows us to support our local neighbours."
