Laws keen on Cork deal

Burnley boss Brian Laws has revealed he would like to sign on-loan Chelsea midfielder Jack Cork on a permanent basis. The England Under-21 international is on loan at Turf Moor until the end of the season but that deal could be nullified if Chelsea decide to sell him in January. "The simple case is there has to be a permanent move if Jack leaves this football club," said Laws. "We`ve got him until the end of the season and the only thing that would stop it would be a permanent move to somewhere else. "But Jack is very, very happy here and it would have to be some club to prise him away. We are very keen to keep him. We are making positive moves to try and keep him here permanently."
