Jensen set for Clarets stay

Burnley have taken goalkeeper Brian Jensen off the transfer list at Turf Moor.

The 31-year-old was made available for transfer in January after falling down the pecking order, but following his return to favour, he has now been removed from the list by Clarets boss Steve Cotterill.

Jensen has started the last two matches for the struggling Championship side.

"I felt that earlier in the season Brian hadn't been keeping us in the game enough," Cotterill told the club's official website.

"After I left him out in a game where I felt he deserved to be taken out of the firing line he had the hump about it.

"I said 'well, is it not alright for me to have the hump when goals are going in that I don't think should'?

"That was the crux of it, but he is off the transfer list now because he apologised."
