Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen has handed the club a major boost by withdrawing his transfer request.
The long-serving keeper asked to leave in December after losing his place to Lee Grant but has now decided to stay following talks with new boss Eddie Howe.
"We`ve had a good chat with Brian and talked about a lot of things," said Howe.
"Brian is frustrated because he wants to play but his attitude is that he is going to get his head down, really knuckle down in training and try and earn his place back.
"He is focused now on Burnley and, for the short term at least, Brian will stay."
