Jensen conceded three goals, looked at fault with two, but came second in the man of the match vote and was joint winner of the player ratings on a night when those marks were very low.
Charlie Austin, again the goalscorer, polled 33.3% of the man of the match vote to take first place and that was ahead of Jensen who came in second with a 18.4% share of the vote.
Ben Mee, playing on the left of three central defenders was third with 14.9% of the vote and second half substitute Sam Vokes won his first points of the season, coming fourth as he won 8.8%.
Vokes did even better in the player ratings, coming joint first with Jensen. Both had ratings of 6.23 out of 10, just ahead of Austin, the only other player to reach the average score of six, who was third with a rating of 6.15. Fourth place went to Mee whose rating was 5.54 out of 10.
Jensen has won eight points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year. Austin is just behind with seven points, Vokes has picked up six points with Mee getting three points.
Those points have extended Austin's lead at the top. He now stands 10 points ahead of Lee Grant in second place with Dean Marney a further five points behind.
