Jensen decides to stay

Manager Eddie Howe said last week that he planned talks with transfer listed goalkeeper Brian Jensen and after those talks the Dane has decided to come off the list. He handed in his transfer request after losing his place in the team to Lee Grant, in similar circumstances to the last occasions he went on the list when Mike Pollit was signed on loan. However, after talks with Howe, he's made the decision to stay, in the short term at least.Howe said today: "We have had a good chat with Brian and talked about a lot of things. Brian is frustrated because he wants to play but his attitude is that he is going to get his head down, really knuckle down in training and try and earn his place back. He is focused now on Burnley, and, for the short term at least, Brian will stay."You want everyone singing from the same sheet. Brian is a great pro, a very good goalkeeper and we are delighted to have him with us. We just need him and Granty to fight for that number one shirt.
