Iwelumo eyes strong start
New Burnley recruit Chris Iwelumo has urged his side to make a strong start to the season as they bid to make an immediate return to the top flight.
Along with Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough and QPR, the Clarets have been installed among the bookmakers' favourites to reach the Barclays Premier League.
Striker Iwelumo said: "It's a hard, hard long season and we have to make sure we start positively and take in one game at a time no matter how well or average it is.
"There will be many surprises and ups and downs but it's over 46 games, not the first couple."
