It's Bikey again

Andre Bikey swept the board on the opening day against Nottingham Forest and he's done it again, winning both the man of the match vote and the player ratings in last Saturday's game against Leicester City. Bikey turned in another outstanding performance in the centre of defence and should have had a goal to go with it but for a bizarre decision by referee Geoff Eltringham to disallow it.He took the man of the match with a slightly smaller percentage of the vote than two weeks earlier. This time he secured 63.7% and only Ross Wallace, who finished in second place with 10.3% was the only other player to reach double figures. Skipper Graham Alexander took third place with just 6.5% of the vote.Cameroon international Bikey was also the big winner in the player ratings. He scored a rating of 8.10 out of 10 to win that too, and that was well clear of any other player. There were two different players behind him, than in the man of the match vote. This time Chris Iwelumo, who scored his second goal in two home games, came second with a rating of 7.33 and Clarke Carlisle was just behind in third place, his rating was 7.30 out of 10.So it is six more points for Andre Bikey towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year, and he's getting himself a good early lead at the top of the table. Both Wallace and Iwelumo get two points and Alexander and Carlisle pick up one point each. You can still vote for your man of the match against Morecambe. The voting poll will run until the end of Friday. The Current Table15: Andre Bikey8: Clarke Carlisle6: Chris Iwelumo3: Wade Elliott2: Ross Wallace1: Graham Alexander, Dean Marney
