It's Barrow for Heywood

Former Burnley central defender Matt Heywood has signed a deal with Barrow and will be playing in the Blue Square Bet Premier League in the coming season. Matt, as we reported last month, was released by Grimsby during last season. He's had trials with both Gateshead and Altrincham during the summer, but has now opted to move to Barrow.He watched their pre-season game against Manchester City on Saturday and signed a one year deal immediately after the game.
