Ings it was who won the man of the match, polling 34.3% of the vote, just ahead of Wallace who took second place with a 32.1% share. No other player reached double figures and the next two places went to midfielders Dean Marney and Chris McCann who had 7.5% and 5.2% of the vote respectively.

Three of those players took also took the top three places in the player ratings. This time it was Wallace on top with a rating of 8.20 out of 10. He came out ahead of Ings and McCann who took second place with ratings of 7.20 and captain Jason Shackell was fourth with a rating of 6.80 out of 10.

It means Charlie Austin still has a 33 point lead at the top of the table from Lee Grant who is now two points clear of Marney who has moved clear into third place.
