He refereed our 3-3 draw at Sheffield United, the 4-2 home win in the FA Cup and finally the 3-0 home defeat against Millwall, and those games have taken his total of Burnley games to ten.
In two of those games we were awarded penalties. Chris Eagles got our second from the spot in the game at Bramall Lane whilst Graham Alexander scored his last ever Burnley penalty in the cup victory over Port Vale.
Penalties have not been a surprise with this referee. In the ten games he's now given us no less than six penalties. All six have been converted and by six different players - namely Robbie Blake, Garreth O'Connor, Jon Harley, Andy Gray, Eagles and Alexander.
Overall he's not refereed too badly, other than a shocker of a performance in our 2-1 win at Coventry in January 2008, a game that eventually saw Coventry's Kevin Kyle belatedly sent off.
His overall record indicates he's not a referee to overuse his cards and last season, in 36 games, there were 74 yellow and 6 red cards.
This season he's refereed 8 games to date, four of which have been in the Championship. In those games there have been 20 yellow cards and 2 red cards.
The yellow cards have been evenly spread with 10 each going to home and away team players. The two players sent off were Blackpool's Ash Eastham in the Carling Cup at Sheffield Wednesday and ex-Burnley apprentice Neal Trotman in Rochdale's 2-0 defeat against his former club Oldham.
Ilderton refereed Coventry's 1-1 home draw against Reading on Saturday. There were four yellow cards in that game - Cyrus Christie and Conor Thomas of Coventry and Reading's Shaun Cummings and Kaspars Gorkss.
Eddie Ilderton is currently in 14th place in the RATE THE REF table with a rating of 70.39.
The assistant referees tonight are Gordon Johnson (Liverpool) and Jeremy Simpson (Lancashire) and the fourth official is Jason Whiteley (West Yorkshire).
