Howe to "tweak" squad

Burnley manager Eddie Howe will have no qualms about reshaping his squad during the summer but is not predicting a major overhaul. Howe has been left to reflect on an ultimately disappointing start to his Turf Moor tenure after the Clarets failed to reach the play-offs. A number of youth-team products have been offered professional contracts for next season and Howe is determined his men make a stronger challenge for promotion. He said: "I don't think there's a massive overhaul needed but I think we need to tweak things and I'm quite prepared to do that. "I think we need some fresh blood as well, some new players, so we'll hopefully make the right decisions and come back a better team. "We've not got a lot out of contract so it's going to be a busy summer."
