Howe receives McCann backing
urnley midfielder Chris McCann is relishing the new season and is convinced that Eddie Howe is the right man to take the club forward.[LNB] McCann recently agreed a new two-year deal which will keep him at Turf Moor until the summer of 2013.[LNB]And while the Clarets narrowly missed out on the play-offs last term, he is convinced they will pose a stronger challenge this time around after Howe oversaw a number of improvements in the players' facilities.[LNB]"With the new gym you can see the difference here (at Turf Moor)," said McCann.[LNB]"With the redevelopment of the training ground, that's a big influence as well.[LNB]"All around it's improving and I think the gaffer has a big hand in that."
