Howe rallies the troops

Burnley boss Eddie Howe has urged his side to embark on a winning sequence when they return to action after the international break.

The Clarets have collected just one point from their last three games after a disappointing run of performances against Millwall, Coventry and at Bristol City. Next up is a home game against Ipswich on Saturday and Howe accepts his men must hit the ground running if they are to force their way into the top six.

"It's going to be make or break time for us and for everybody else," Howe told the club's official website.

"It's a really jam-packed month full of games and really big games, exciting games as well.

"We can't wait for that to start and I think the first two or three results will be pivotal."
