Howe in optimistic mood
Eddie Howe is confident his Burnley players are fully prepared for the new Championship season.[LNB] The Clarets wrapped up their pre-season by beating Sunderland 1-0 on Saturday and begin their new league campaign this Saturday when Watford visit Turf Moor.[LNB]Howe told the Lancashire Telegraph: "This week's going to be a good week in terms of doing a lot of tactical work and final preparations, but I think we're where we want to be."[LNB]The 33-year-old is also pleased that his players have managed to avoid injuries.[LNB]"It's been good in pre-season in terms of injuries. There's always a delicate balance between how much you work the players and that breaking point," he added. [LNB]"So far we've been okay."
