Howe hopes to have Cork back

This week's news on Jack Cork is not good for either the player or Burnley Football Club with the loanee from Chelsea expected to miss out on Saturday against Ipswich which would be his first miss since the Sheffield United game in January. Cork went off at half time in England's under-21 game against Iceland at Deepdale on Monday with palpitations and he's now returned to his parent club to be diagnosed by their medical staff.Burnley boss Eddie Howe has said that he thinks Cork must be rated as doubtful for the Ipswich game but hopes he'll be able to return to play for the Clarets during the run in.Howe said: "It's still too early to tell what's wrong, but he has gone back to Chelsea for some tests. They have better facilities there than we have, but fingers crossed he will be back with us at some point. We certainly hope so."But we've got to make sure he is okay first and foremost, and that he is fit and well. Although we're still not sure what the problem is, I would have thought Saturday is doubtful for Jack."On returning to Turf Moor in August ahead of the game at Ipswich he was initially used as a substitute before getting his first start at Middlesbrough. Since then he's started all be three of the games and his form sees him well ahead in the table for the Clarets Mad Player of the Year.
