Howe has high hopes for Mac

urnley boss Eddie Howe believes a bright future beckons for Alex MacDonald and has tipped the rookie striker to shine this season.[LNB] The 21-year-old had a loan spell at Inverness Caledonian Thistle last term but he was restricted to only 11 appearances in four months at the Scottish Premier League outfit.[LNB]But Howe has welcomed MacDonald back to Turf Moor and he hit the ground running with the opening goal in a 4-2 win over Altrincham on Saturday.[LNB]"Alex is a talented young player," said Howe.[LNB]"We have high hopes for him. He did really well on Saturday and he was really bright.[LNB]"He's a got a great attitude, he's an infectious character and hopefully he will continue to do well."[LNB]
