Howe happy with home start

urnley manager Eddie Howe admits he is pleased that his side will kick off the new season on home soil with the visit of Watford on August 6.[LNB] The Clarets then have two successive away games at Crystal Palace and Birmingham before Cardiff are the visitors to Turf Moor.[LNB]Yet Howe is looking no further than the first day as he bids to get off to a winning start.[LNB]"They are all tough games, and also there is a lot to happen between now and kick-off, but we're pleased to be at home first," he said.[LNB]"We've started the preparation and planning so it's always good to know what lies ahead.[LNB]"I'm sure the supporters will be pleased we're at home, and with the cup game against Burton to follow up after that hopefully we can hit the ground running."
