Howe frustrated with Ipswich showing

Burnley manager Eddie Howe, whose side remain three points adrift of the top six with eight games of the season remaining, was left frustrated with the inability of his players to create opportunities against Ipswich. Goals from David Norris and Connor Wickham put Town 2-0 up at half-time and although the Clarets hit back through a 68th minute Jay Rodriguez effort, Town held on for victory. Howe said: "I don't think we created enough chances which was the most disappointing part. Second half we rolled our sleeves up and had a go. We didn't really do that first half. "First couple of minutes we were bright and lively but the goal knocked us. Second half we did have a go and after we scored you thought we'd lay siege but we didn't really create a chance. "There's always pressure in management. My aims are to win every game and when you don't you question everything. I think teams have done their homework against us but we have to be better. "We need to look at our next game. We have tough fixtures but we're still in and around it despite a poor run of form. It is frustrating because I don't think we're far away. But we're conceding goals - two a game at the moment - and if you do that it's a big ask."
