Hearts say no to latest Driver bid

Burnley's latest offer for winger Andrew Driver, a substantially increased offer, has gone the same way as the previous one and been rejected by the Hearts board. It was reported recently that we'd offered £1.5 million for Driver, but with add ons it could have reached £3 million. The latest bid was an initial £2.5 million with add ons taking it to what would have been a Burnley record transfer of £4 million. Added to that, there was a large sell on clause included. You can only wonder as to how much Hearts think they can get for a player who they are clearly trying to sell to the highest bidder. Despite all the nonsense about Chelsea they will be limited as to who they can sell him to with German Bundesliga club Cologne showing some interest.Maybe one day we'll actually sign Driver or move on to other targets and forget about him.
