Guidetti set for Burnley
Brian Laws said yesterday that he was confident of bringing in a young player on loan and that player is almost certainly Manchester City's young striker John Guidetti. The 18-year-old is already familiar with Turf Moor, having scored a hat trick for Manchester City reserves here last season and he made his first team bow this season, playing a full ninety minutes in their Carling Cup clash with West Brom at the Hawthorns.Guidetti started his career in his homeland of Sweden with Bromaapojkama before joining Manchester City in April 2008, the Premier League club beating off interest from Sampdoria, Lazio, Roma and Ajax for his signature.Now he looks set for an initial short loan at Burnley.
