Burnley captain Graham Alexander and forward Jay Rodriguez are expanding their horizons at Turf Moor and Monday will see them take up new roles in the club shop. Jay Rod will be on the tills on Monday afternoonIt's all part of the club shop's 'Children in Need' day, the brainchild of manager Lisa Merrifield. It all starts in the morning when Lisa will be joined by shop staff Andrea, Darren & Kayleigh at Gawthorpe where they will train with the first team.Joint manager Tom Mackie has somehow managed to skive the training and will be on duty in the shop at Turf Moor. It's reversed roles in the afternoon and, as the knackered foursome try and recover from their exertions, they will be replaced by Grezza and Jay Rod who will work on the tills during the afternoon. There will be other activities too as Burnley Football Club do their bit for the fundraising next week. So if you are free on Monday afternoon, pop into the shop and get the new much improved customer service.
