Gray days for Cotterill

Burnley boss Steve Cotterill has admitted that his side are missing injured striker Andy Gray, who is currently sidelined with a foot problem.

Gray has ten goals to his name this season, but he has been absent since late November due to having three broken bones in his right foot.

Cotterill told The Citizen after the 1-0 loss at Barnsley: "For the first time, I've actually opened up and said we miss Andy Gray.

"I don't want to say that, but it's obvious. It's a big void for anybody at our club to fill.

"If you lose your main striker, it's a problem. As well as Gifton Noel-Williams and Kyle Lafferty are doing, losing Andy is a blow to us.

"We've known that for a while and we have to come out fighting because we haven't got him and we are not going to have him for a while yet."
