Gray may stick

Burnley caretaker boss Stuart Gray could name an unchanged line-up for their Bank Holiday encounter with Reading. Gray took temporary charge of the Clarets following the sacking of Brian Laws last week and his players responded in perfect fashion by dispatching Sheffield United 4-2. "The effort and commitment was there and if we didn't have the ball, we worked hard to win it back," said Gray following the win. Recalled Chris Eagles and Chris Iwelumo both netted on their returns to the team and they are likely to retain their spots in the starting XI. But Steven Thompson - who came off the bench to seal victory - may hope to be considered following his cameo. Long-term absentee Chris McCann is still on the sidelines.
