Gray completes Leeds move

Two weeks ago we reported that Bradford City, who thought they had clinched a deal to sign their former player and ex-Claret Andy Gray, were likely to pipped by another of his former clubs Leeds United.

Since, Gray has trained with Leeds and today has committed himself to a return to his first club and signed a one year deal.

Gray was with the Clarets from March 2006, signing initially on loan from Sunderland, until his somewhat acrimonious departure to Charlton Athletic in January 2008 where he played until transferring to Barnsley three years ago.

He celebrated his return to Elland Road by playing the second half of their 6-0 win at Tavistock last night, coming on as a substitute at half time for Luciano Becchio.
