Graham Alexander signs for Preston

It seemed an almost inevitable move and Graham Alexander has made a return to Preston North End today. Grezza was released by the Clarets early last month and has been training with Bolton Wanderers, but he's now signed for the next season for Preston North End. Manager Phil Brown said: "I'm on the same page as him in terms of football and he's on the same page as me in terms of life." Grezza himself described it as a dream move to be back at Deepdale where he spent over eight years before signing for Burnley in August 2007. Grezza will be 40 in October but doesn't give anyone the impression that he's even considering retiring as a player and described the second half of last season as the most frustrating of his career when he couldn't get a place in the Burnley team. I'd just like to send him my very best wishes to him and hope he enjoys the success there that he so fully deserves.
