Goodison defeat leaves Coyle blue

Despite the dismissal of Stephen Jordan just after the hour mark, the Clarets were closing in on their second away point of the season in the Premier League until James Vaughan pounced seven minutes from time at Goodison Park.[LNB]Steven Pienaar wrapped up the win for the hosts with another goal in the 90th minute.[LNB]"I had mixed emotions - some anger - that we didn't get something from the game and that decisions went against us," said Coyle.[LNB]"I felt Yakubu was offside when Everton scored their first, at a time when we were down to 10 men and still working our socks off and making life hard for them."[LNB]The Clarets have one point from 10 matches on the road this season and are only out of the relegation zone because of five wins and four draws from 10 fixtures at Turf Moor.[LNB]However, Coyle is certain they can arrest the away run.[LNB]"We are still looking for that first away league win, but if we keep playing like we did at Everton it will certainly come along for us," he added.[LNB]"Then if we can marry that with our fine home form, we will certainly get enough points to stay in the Premier League."[LNB][LNB] Everton v Carlisle.
