Burnley boss Brian Laws could be boosted by the return of defender Danny Fox for the visit of Reading. The left-back missed Tuesday's 3-0 home win over Barnsley with a thigh strain and Brian Easton deputised with a fine performance. Yet Laws said: "We are hoping that Danny Fox is available for us. He has progressed really well. "We are certainly expecting him to be involved in the squad, which will be good news for everybody. Other than that it's the same as." Defender Clarke Carlisle serves the final game of a three-match ban and midfielder Chris McCann is a long-term injury absentee. Laws will be reluctant to change his team and admitted: "It gives me a little bit of a headache because we've got good players here and they all want to play."
