Yesterday, Chris Iwelumo was called up for the Scotland for their friendly against Sweden to be played in Stockholm next week, and now four other Clarets have been selected for their respective countries. Martin Paterson - back in the Northern Ireland squadMartin Paterson played twice for Northern Ireland in September 2009 in their World Cup qualifiers against Poland and Slovakia, but because of the injury he sustained in the Carling Cup at Barnsley he hasn't featured since. But he not gets the chance to return to international football after receiving a call up from Nigel Worthington for their friendly against Montenegro in Podgorica. There is also an international return for Andre Bikey who was left out of the Cameroon squad for the World Cup Finals. He's in their squad for a friendly in Poland. Both these games, as is the case with Scotland's in Stockholm, will be played next Wednesday, and that is 24 hours after Kevin McDonald and Brian Easton hope to be picking up Scotland Under-21 caps. Like the senior team they will be playing against Sweden with this game being played at St. Mirren.
