First time referees for Burnley
Burnley's next three games, against Burton Albion, Crystal Palace and, according to the Football League, Birmingham City will all be refereed by referees taking their first Burnley games. Tomorrow night's Carling Cup tie against Burton will be in the hands of Craig Pawson from South Yorkshire whilst WiItshire based referee Brendan Malone will be in charge at Crystal Palace. The Football League remain blissfully unaware that the game at Birmingham next Tuesday has been postponed and have appointed South Yorkshire official Bobby Madley. He will probably referee it when it is finally played.
