Elliott upbeat over play-off push

Burnley midfielder Wade Elliott is confident his side can make a sustained push for the play-offs after the international break. The Clarets have collected just one point from their last three games after a disappointing run of performances against Millwall, Coventry and at Bristol City. Eddie Howe's men return with a home game against Ipswich on April 2 and Elliott is determined to ensure there will be no further slip-ups. Elliott said: "We are very frustrated that we worked hard to get ourselves into what we thought was a very strong position with the games in hand and we haven't quite made the most of that position. "But I guess we maybe draw a line under it now and say we are still not in a bad position with nine games to go and gear all our energy towards that. "With the teams we have still got left to play, it's still within our hands. If we want to get a place in at least the top six we are still capable of that."
