Burnley defender David Edgar could feature in the FA Cup fifth-round clash against West Ham at Upton Park. Edgar was set to move to npower Championship rivals Swansea on loan but the deal collapsed because of red tape and he has returned to Turf Moor. Recent signings Charlie Austin and Marvin Bartley are both cup-tied and Clarets boss Eddie Howe may call on Edgar's services. He said: "David is back with us so we are pleased to have him back in the squad. "With two lads dropping out it will be good to have him around." Clarets striker Martin Paterson could be out for the rest of the season following the recurrence of a thigh injury and midfielder Chris McCann also remains sidelined.
